Short Biography of PV Sindhu:-

| PV Sindhu
Pusarla Venkata Sindhu was born
in Hyderabad presently in Telangana on 5th July in 1995. Her father PV
Ramana is international volleyball player. He won the gold medal in the 1986
Asian Games. PV Sindhu was admitted to Pullela Gopichand Academy. She is
pursuing MBA from St. Anns College for Women, Mehdipatnam. She has a weight of
65kg or 143 lb. She is 1.79 metre in height. She held the highest ranking of 9
on and from 13th March, 2014. Her present ranking is 10.

This talented player showed her
brilliance in 2011 when she got the gold medal in commonwealth youth games. She
repeated her excellence in 2014 when she achieved the third position in commonwealth
games to receive the bronze medal. Finally she has done the improvement and
gone to the final in the summer Olympics. She has been awarded with the silver
medal.
She won 184 matches out of 270
in singles. In doubles, she won 9 out of 17 matches.

She is 21 years of age and the challenge that she gave before the world no 1
