Event-Flow in Kerala General Assembly Election on the Poll-Day:- 
There was a heavy downpour in Kottayam, Ernakulam, Alappuzha and Idukki districts since Sunday night.Kaithampoyil Kunahamed, a 70-year-old voter , died at Perambra constituency in Kozhikode. “KCBC has not asked devotees to vote for any particular party,” said Thrissur Archbishop Andrews Thazhath. There was a complaint of assault to three party workers at Cheruthazham HSS in Kalliassery constituency by CPIM. At Puttadi in Idukki, a voter died just after he had exercised his franchise. The security personnel arrested a person from a booth in Shankaravilasam School at Patyam near Panur in Kannur for an assay to do bogus vote. There peeped a difficulty for three EVMs in Perambavur in Ernakulam.The officials found a snag in the assigned EVM for Kanangat booth in Kozhikode south.Poll started after half hour. A UDF  agent lodged a complaint that someone had taken away his electoral roll during the power cut at booth no. 24 at Kathirur govt VHSS in Thalassery constituency. The poll started again after the recovery of the roll. Voters of Kumvichalkadavu in Amboor come to cast their votes after a long struggling journey. They come 6 kilometers trekking . Then they have to ride a boat for another 3 kilometers. The government should build a strong bridge for these sufferers. The polling officer came late by half an hour at Palamanna booth in Ottappalam. So, the poll started late. His relative died.

Boycott:-
Voters in Panambukad and Kakkanad did not exercise their franchises. They boycotted votes as they were the Victims of the Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act (Sarfaesi Act). They complained that no government had addressed their problem to overcome. The Commission replaced the polling officer fallen ill from 48 in St. Antony’s LP School in Perumbavur constituency
***. Booth no. 36 at the polling station at the Manjampara LPS in Vattiyurkavu has the highest number of voters (1,888) in the Thiruvananthapuram.
Kanayannur Tahsildar ordered the presiding officers in booths nos 67 and 68 to speed up the poll process after receiving complaints of a slow poll. Collector asked to report for booth 65 in Tripunithura constituency for the same reason.
Rehabilitated Sri Lankan refugees exercised their franchise at Kambamala in Wayanad district . C. Sadanandan, a BJP candidate at Koothuparamba, complained  largescale bogus voting in many CPI(M) strongholds in that constituency. The Commission arrested two CPI(M) workers for casting bogus votes in Kannur. District Collector suspended polling officials. Allegedly, CPI(M) workers at Nallepilly under Chittur Assembly constituency injured two Janata Dal(Secular) workers.

CPIM leader from LDF alliance Pinarayi Vijayan went to the polling booth at Amala UPS at Pinarayi with his wife.
CM Oommen Chandy along with his family came to the assigned booth at  Georgian Public School in Puthuppally to cast his vote. Mammootty cast his vote at Panampilly Nagar booth. Former Maharashtra governor K. Sankaranarayanan cast his vote at Sekaripuram in Palakkad

Gafoor P. Lillis, an LDF independent candidate in Tirur, came with his mother  at AMLP School, Kaithavalappu, Tirur to cast vote The PWD Minister VK Ebrahim Kunju cast his vote at Alangad Govt Higher Secondary School. Dilip exercised his franchise at a booth in Aluva. Thomas Issac, former Finance Minister, came to vote at Alappuzha Kidangamparambu school. Kerala Governor P Sathasivam cast his vote at Vattiyurkavu Jawahar Nagar booth. Sreesanth, an NDA candidate, cast his vote at Edapally.
